These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TaskFlow, a mobile application developed and operated by Farpak LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using TaskFlow, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TaskFlow, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the application.
2. Description of Service
TaskFlow is a task management application designed for students. It provides features including:
- Task creation, organization, and tracking
- An on-device AI assistant for task-related queries
- Calendar views for schedule visualization
- Integration with Canvas LMS via calendar feeds
- Screenshot-based task import using on-device Vision
- Local notifications for deadline reminders
- Home screen widgets
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- All data you enter into the application
- Maintaining the security of your device
- Ensuring any Canvas LMS calendar URLs you provide are your own
- Backing up your data as you see fit
4. Intellectual Property
TaskFlow, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is the intellectual property of Farpak LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the application or its content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Use the application for any commercial purpose without written permission
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
5. AI Assistant
TaskFlow includes an on-device AI assistant that provides suggestions and information based on your tasks. The AI assistant:
- Runs entirely on your device using a downloaded language model
- Provides suggestions that are informational only and should not be relied upon as professional advice
- May occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete responses
We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying any information provided by the AI assistant.
6. Canvas LMS Integration
TaskFlow can connect to Canvas LMS using your institution's calendar feed URL. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:
- We are not affiliated with Instructure (the company behind Canvas)
- The connection is made directly from your device to your institution's Canvas server
- We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of data provided by Canvas
- Your use of Canvas is subject to your institution's policies
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of TaskFlow is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All task data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TaskFlow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The application will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected in a timely manner
- The AI assistant will always provide accurate information
- The application will meet your specific requirements
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Farpak LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or academic consequences, arising from your use of TaskFlow.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Farpak LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the application or violation of these Terms.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue TaskFlow at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of TaskFlow after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
